central location nice touch
The location allowed me to walk to several restaurants. the complimentary water bottles were a nice touch and i could refill them as needed. I was very grateful for this amenity.
The room was rather small, i found it a little cramped. It's definitely something to consider if you have a lot of luggage.

poor insulation drug use
The provided beverages upon check-in were acceptable.
The noise insulation was terrible. I could clearly hear conversations in adjacent rooms and street noise. The location was also problematic as I observed a significant amount of drug use nearby, quite unsettling.

the lobby has facilities. a water cooler allows filling pineapple water bottles. coffee and biscuits were served mornings. heather at the staff gave great tourist advice about the city and places to eat. the room was modern. it was also clean. the staff were very helpful.
i was never informed about where to park before check in. it was very difficult downtown with a late arrival. parking is cash only, a problem for early checkouts if you don't have cash. i found finding a atm downtown challenging since most are closed before 10am.

the lobby includes a water cooler to fill pineapple water bottles. in the morning, guests could get coffee and biscuits. the staff provided tourist advice, including directions and restaurant recommendations.

the area is near union square. it gives easy access to various restaurants. this access make it easy to find dining options and enjoy the city's culinary scene. the convenience greatly enhances the stay.

safety issue homeless people
The staff seemed helpful, with Raven and Jenny being really great.
The surrounding area did not seem safe. There are homeless people and drug users all around the hotel. I would never stay here again because of the area and the safety issue.
